Sainsbury’s store in Plymouth
We were contacted in May 2006 regarding the possible refurbishment of the architectural sails which make up a pedestrian canopy on the front elevation of the Sainsbury’s store.
A subsequent survey was carried out to identify the level of corrosion.
The following specification was advised: wash down all existing surfaces to be painted; abrade all corroded areas; patch prime and apply one full coat of undercoat and one full coat of top coat to give a life of 8-10 years in a coastal environment like Plymouth.
The contract was completed on time to a high standard and was passed off by the client. We have since been asked to carry out work on other Sainsbury’s stores. |
